Turnbridge Adolescent Residential Treatment Program Highlights:
- The nation’s leading experts: Turnbridge employs a multidisciplinary team of the most experienced and skilled psychiatrists, psychotherapists, psychometricians, academic counselors, nutrition and recreational experts, case managers, and support team members.
- Excellence commitment: Turnbridge provides the best and most comprehensive evidence-based treatment to clients and families. We are a Yale School of Medicine training site accredited by CARF and licensed by the state of Connecticut.
- Achieving Diagnostic Clarity: One of the most challenging aspects of making mental healthcare effective is gaining insight into root causes and identifying all of the issues a young person is experiencing. These programs specialize in achieving diagnostic clarity by surrounding clients with resources, establishing strong therapeutic alliances, and closely observing client interactions with team members, peers, and family members. Diagnostic clarity allows all aspects of treatment to be more effective and can reduce the time needed to achieve positive treatment outcomes.
- Setting Successful Treatment Trajectory: Our experienced team collaborates to initiate effective treatment, optimize care plans during the treatment stay, and recommend the best ongoing treatment options after clients return home after treatment.
- Beautiful, Safe Environments: We believe that clients, families, and team members need to feel fully supported, safe, and immersed in healing-centered environments. Each gender-specific program is located on a beautifully maintained and equipped private acreage in Woodbury and Killingworth, Connecticut. Residences are exceedingly comfortable, chef-prepared meals are plentiful and nutritious, numerous recreational activities are offered, and clients have monitoring and support around the clock.
- School System Coordination: We work with your child’s school to help them keep pace while receiving treatment. We can also coordinate specialized neuropsychological and neurological testing to identify needs and advocate for school system accommodations and supports.
- In-Network and Close to Home: Our adolescent residential treatment programs are in-network with major insurance. Most clients pay little or no out-of-pocket cost, and our Connecticut locations are within driving distance for most Connecticut and New York Metro families.
